I’ve been asked to collaborate on a list of affordable activities by What’s on MK. It’s a really cool website for things to do for those living in and visiting Milton Keynes. I’ve embedded below. As an aspie I revelled in the research and listing the events by location and chronological order 😅.
MK Hip Hop Festival
This is free to attend and is being held on Sunday 24th May at Middleton Hall at centre:mk shopping centre. This event runs from 12pm to 4pm and there’s something for all ages here. The whole family can watch performances and participate in the drop-in graffiti sessions. Even the baby’s and tots are included with the hip hop and rhyme sessions for tots.
Free Lion King screening at Unity Place
Thankfully this free event is taking place on Friday 29th May at 11am. Unity Place have covered all bases and allowed for large games and colouring to run concurrently with the screening for those littles who would like to do something else.

As someone who’s spent countless amounts on activities only for their neurodivergent child to have a meltdown. I’ve also included some activities for us SEND parents.

These aren’t just for babies and toddlers. They cover older children as well. For ease I’ve pasted each areas timetable.
